The Regatta Procedures section of the AMYA Handbook is now largely obsolete. On July 23, 2000, the AMYA Board of Directors adopted an up-to-date document called "AMYA Championship Regatta Guidelines" which details required and recommended aspects of National and Regional competitions. This document defines the precedence order of the various documents involved, and seeks to pull together into one convenient place all of the information that may affect the official conduct of an event.
